I Hate That I'm Lonely

I hate that I'm lonely.
I hate that I come home to an empty house every night
No one asking me "How was your day?"
No one holding me tight with all of his might 
Nor kiss me on the forehead to make the bad day go away.

I hate that I'm lonely.
I hate that my bestie is not nearby
Nor don't have a friend I can trust due to them possibly leaving me 
Showing my positive attitude but inside I cry
Staying strong and loving as I can be.

I hate that I'm lonely.
Don't get me wrong!
I'm not about to jump off a cliff 
Or enter into the suicide zone
God is always there to give me a lift
So I maybe lonely, but I'm not alone!

Still, I hate that I'm lonely...
